Feeling it out with Inside Out 2

Inside Out 2 brings its audience back to the mind of teenager Riley as headquarters is undergoing a demolition to conform to all of Riley’s new emotions. This sequel focuses on Riley’s mind as she goes through puberty and begins to experience newer, complex emotions, such as Anxiety, Embarrassment, Envy, and Ennui. Inside Out 2 was one of the most anticipated films of 2024, and fans of the original movie were quick to rush to theaters to see it.  

Reviews of Inside Out 2 were mixed but overall positive. Some fans felt that this sequel was redundant and anti-climactic; others went as far to say it was better than its predecessor. Many people feel that the newer emotions accurately describe what it feels like to really go through puberty and that it sends a positive message to teenagers around the world, helping to validate their emotions and make them feel seen.
