“I’ve been playing softball since I was about 12. I committed to AU because I’ve always loved AU and I wanted to stay local. I feel like they’re super well-known and [have] great programs. I plan on majoring in athletic training or nursing, I’m leaning more towards athletic training to stay within sports. [My high school coaches] taught me the little precise things I needed as well as built on the fundamentals I already knew. I will miss my teammates the most, I’ve played with Megan Gee and KB Griffith since I was 12/13 so it’s going to be weird not being on the field with both of them!”
