Art club meeting
The Art Club met this week with ten members in attendance and several points of business were discussed. They have decided to order t-shirts after the final design has been approved at a cost of $13.50 each. Also, members talked about possible trip destinations for the spring.
They would like to visit the area museums, go to Kings Dominion and tour the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, but Mrs. Brown must approve these trips. In addition, they also discussed fund raising events. Face painting for St. Patrick’s Day and Easter were brought up and Crazy Bonnet day. Finally, possible community outreach projects for the club were discussed such as painting the side of a local barn to raise art awareness and flower bed landscaping at a local business.
