Mr. Christopher Gee

Mr. Christopher Gee is one of the newest science teachers at Tunstall. He had previously taught at Dan River High School for six years. Gee teaches earth science for freshman and environmental science for upperclassmen. Gee attended Averett University and graduated in 2005 with a biology major.

When asked about coming to Tunstall, Gee said it was a easy option to choose.

“Its my school! I grew up and graduated here.”

Gee also said that he loves Tunstall in general. “The overall environment is great. For the most part, the students are very self-motivated. It just feels like home.”

His relatives have come through Tunstall, including one that is teaching here.

“Everyone here knows my mother, Mrs. Gee. She teaches math here; I also have a younger brother and sister, both graduates of Tunstall.”

Gee also has a few goals to accomplish. “My goals are to positively impact the lives of students in some way or another. Some students just need someone to care about them, while others need to be pushed to succeed in the classroom. I hope to have high SOL pass rates as well for each semester.”

In his free time, he likes to play video games, play guitar, and work on his house and truck.
