Hannah and Emma are Sophomores at Tunstall. They are fraternal twins. Both Hannah and Emma are competitive bowlers, even to the point of making it to the national level.They also compete frequently at the city and state level.

Hannah and Emma’s parents both grew up bowling. They signed the twins up to bowl when they were 5 and they have been bowling together ever since.

Their averages remain around 170, but it can go up or down a few pins week by week.

They have both been very successful in their bowling careers so far. At the Commonwealth Games of Virginia, Hannah won the gold medal and Emma won the bronze. Both of these medals qualified them for the national tournament in Nebraska. At the State Games of America, Emma won the gold medal and Hannah won the bronze.

At Tunstall they are both involved in many different things. Emma is in robotics club, color guard, French club, and is on the math SCAEL team, while Hannah runs cross country and track, competitively rides horses, and is in Spanish club. They both are in Beta.

Hannah and Emma 2A close friend of the twins, Lia Haskins says, “Hannah is athletic and funny and Emma loves band. Hannah is my best friend. I’ve had more classes with her and we became close friends when I moved here. Emma is my friend and I speak with her often.”

Hannah enjoys sports while Emma enjoys academics more. Emma is more straightforward, while Hannah is friendlier. Hannah is blond and taller, while Emma is brunette and shorter. Even though they have many differences they are very supportive of each other, they can always make each other laugh and they have an unbreakable bond.

“Having a twin is like having a little person on your shoulder who is always talking to you. They can be annoying at times, but you know they always have your back,” said Emma.
