Are you a watcher or a player? Emma Roberts and Dave Franco star in the thrill-seeking, adventurous action movie, Nerve. Everyone quickly becomes consumed with the new online game of truth or dare, minus the truth. Players are watched by anonymous viewers and are paid to complete the dares they are given. If the dares are incomplete or rules are broken, the player risks losing everything, even their identity.

High school senior, Vee (Emma Roberts), is tired of being thought of as the shy girl and unexciting, unlike her best friend, Sydney (Emily Meade), who is obsessed with becoming the winner of Nerve. After the two get into an argument, Vee decides to become a player.

Watchers then pair her with, Ian (Dave Franco), to complete dares together. Vee and Ian start to develop feelings for each other as the night goes on. When they are faced with a dilemma, Vee and Ian realize that the game must be shut down before anyone else gets hurt.

Earning a 7 out of 10 rating, Nerve is definitely worth the watch. It premiered in theaters July 27, so hurry and take some time to see this energetic, enthralling movie before it’s taken off screen.
