Mrs. Pamela Hitt

Pamela Hitt is the new 11th grade English teacher. Mrs. Hitt graduated from the University of West Florida and has been teaching for 18 years. Mrs. Hitt says she decided to come to Tunstall because, ” I love a smaller setting, and I live very close by.” Her favorite things about Tunstall so far are “the students are very friendly, and my department is phenomenal.”

Outside of school Mrs. Hitt enjoys cooking, reading, and playing with her grandchildren. She’s been married to her husband for 35 years, who is a retired naval officer. They have lived all over the U.S. and Italy. She has four children and seven grandchildren.

Her goals for Tunstall are ” to teach all students successfully.” She hopes for students to feel like they can come to her at any time if they have a problem, ” I want to make a difference in their lives!”
