Mr. Aaron Book
Mr. Aaron Book is a new face at school and is very excited to be a part of the THS family. Book teaches government, AP government, and world history. Although this is his first time teaching as a Tunstall Trojan, he has been teaching for a total of 16 years.
When asked what helped him decide to come here Book said, “THS has a reputation as the best high school in Pittsylvania County.”
Book earned his Bachelors of Arts degree at Ithaca College in New York. Then he continued his education at Virginia Tech to earn his Master’s Degree.
To accompany his love for teaching, Book also has a great amount of love for his six nieces and nephews. In his free time, Book likes to spend his time hiking and traveling.
His goal for the upcoming year is “to assist all of his students by contributing positively to American Society as informed, engaged, and responsible citizens.”
Before coming to THS Book taught at several schools including; Rockbridge County, Prince William County, Hargrave Military Academy, and the National Museum of the Marine Corps.
