Ms. Laura Cox
Beginning her first semester ever as a student teacher, Ms. Cox is the new government and history teacher for 11th and 12th graders.
Earning her Bachelor’s and Master’s from Virginia Commonwealth University, she’s anxious about being a teacher at THS instead of being a student as she was a few years ago. “I want to see the other side of things,” she says.
She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her close friends and family, and is also looking forward to getting married next year. Her goals for this school year are to grow as a educator and “impart my love of history to my students.”
