Najaf Gill moved from Pakistan to the US in 2004.

Najaf Gill

“My family came to America in 1995. It was difficult at first because my dad and my uncles all had to find jobs and none of them could speak English very well. My dad had to get a job as a taxi driver in Queens, NY. I had to be born in Pakistan because my mother didn’t have a visa to leave until 2004! After that, we started running Gill’s 58 gas station on highway 58. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come from our simple beginnings.”
