“TCE (Tunstall Concert Ensemble) requires long hours of focus even at practices from 9a.m. to 9p.m. We spend almost 40 hours after school every week working our way to WGI (Winter Guard International) Championships in Dayton, Ohio. TCE makes you a better person, as well, and gives you something to be proud of after putting all of that work into a seven minute show. You play for the enjoyment of the audience and yourself. The biggest and most looked forward to trip is when we go to Ohio for about a week for world championships. It’s the best thing to meet and see other groups from all over the place to come and compete for gold.”
