“My biggest support system is most definitely my friends and family because they encourage me to always follow through. Getting over my personal hurdles is obviously the best feeling; I feel accomplished. After playing volleyball for almost seven years now, I clearly have had my ups and downs. When I first started, I could barely hit the ball over the net to save my life. It was pretty rough. But, with tons of practice, I received the game point for my winning serve when my team won our first game in the County league. I’ve never given up. Even if it has been difficult, it’s totally been worth it.”
