“I chose Ferrum because it is a small college in the mountains and I love to hike and I enjoy many other outdoor activities! I am majoring in Agriculture because I have always had a strong passion for animals and farming, and I want to make a difference in a field that is such an important aspect of people’s lives. I also love the size of Ferrum because it will allow me to receive a lot of hands on experience with my intended major. I am not positive what I want my job to be yet. However, I know that I want to have a career that allows me to improve the growth and health of livestock, so overall, I will be improving the quality of food and products for people.”
