A new sporting goods store has recently moved to Danville by the name of Dunham’s Sports.  Dunham’s has a great variety of sporting goods ranging from ammunition to golf clubs. With the opening of this store competition will inevitably arise between Dunham’s and Dicks and with that the question will present itsself: “Which is the better store?”

Between the two stores, Dunham’s has a larger variety and a better organized layout of their store. Also, they have more options for one product. Although Dicks has less variety, it does have better customer service and more sales representatives ready to help you. The two stores prices are comparable, so it’s still a game or chasing sales for the best deals. Both stores have their pros and cons and it all depends on what one is looking for as to which store will best suit you, such as if you are looking for a fishing lure Dick’s is the place to go but if its a rifle Dunham’s has a better and larger selection.

Junior Cristian Bonar says “Dick’s Sporting Goods is a better option because Dunham’s customers service doesn’t work well with you.”

Both stores are comparable but I will always shop Dicks first.
