Cross Country season begins

Cross+Country+season+begins

As summer comes to an end, the new season of cross country begins. Tunstall’s team is already taking off on the right foot.

The first cross country game was this past Wednesday, Aug. 23. Held at Anglers Park, the Trojans showed their best efforts. The boys team finished fifth overall, and the girls team finished second.

Hallie James Holt is a senior at Tunstall, and this is her second year on the Trojan Messenger staff. She spends most of her time reading and writing. She is a Harry Styles/Taylor Swift enthusiast. She would give her soul to attend a Smiths concert in 1985, and she rewatches Dead Poets Society at least once a week. Next year she hopes to attend the University of Tennessee to major in English on her way to becoming a lawyer or journalist.
